Thursford is a spectacular venue and had special meaning to the both of us so it was the perfect location to get married. Charlie was great to work with in the lead up to the big day and always available to answer any questions (of which I had many!). We also found that our other suppliers had no problems with making arrangements at Thursford which meant no additional stress for us.

It was great to have access the day before the wedding to ensure that everything was set up and ready and we were pleasantly surprised to find a number of extra finishing touches that Charlie thought would add that little bit more to the venue.

The day itself could not have run any more smoothly – Charlie was always there to ensure everything was running to schedule and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He was also very good at liaising with other members of the wedding party when we were busy and everyone found him to be approachable and accommodating. Nothing that was asked of him was too much!

A number of our guests hadn’t been to Thursford before and couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything looked. It was particularly stunning for our evening guests who arrived after dark and got the full impact of the lights! It looked magical and our photographer got many shots that really captured the mood. We also had a great time on the carousel and gondola rides which were a real highlight of the day – many of our guests had been looking forward to these in particular and were not disappointed!

All in all we would not have changed a thing about our wedding day as it really was perfect and I have no doubt that Thursford and Charlie in particular were big contributing factors!
