August 2023

Our Wedding Day at Thursford was in August 2023 and it was the most magical day of our lives so far. It really was a once in a lifetime feeling and this was definitely helped by having our wedding at the Thursford.

I was lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Holly Lodge the night before our wedding with my bridesmaids and to wake up there on the morning of the wedding day was just the best way to start the whole day. We also stayed there the night of the wedding.

The Garden Pavilion is just perfect, you couldn’t ask or want for anything more. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we first saw it. We had our arrival drinks in the secret garden area with the sound of the beautiful water fountain in the background, we then headed over to the pavilion for our wedding breakfast and evening reception. This venue is just beautiful with all of the indoor and outdoor lights. There is nothing that this venue doesn’t offer.

There is nothing that this venue can't do.

It ticks so many boxes.

We chose Thursford because we knew we wanted to have our ceremony at St Peters Church in Walsingham and we wanted the reception to be close by. We also wanted somewhere fresh and modern and the Garden Pavilion was just perfect. As soon as the sun starts to fade you get to see how beautiful all of the outside lights are, the venue becomes a completely different place. So many of our guests said to us how beautiful and perfect the venue was and how it was one if not the best wedding they had ever been to.

It was really great to have access to the pavilion the day before the Wedding to ensure that everything was set up and ready and Melissa really helped me with this. Melissa and her team at Thursford worked so hard on the day to make it extra special for us, they were so kind and helpful. We can't thank them enough for everything they did to make our day the best it could be.
