From our Old Farm Barn for those more intimate ceremonies to our Magical Museum for Norfolk's most unforgettable backdrop, to the walled gardens and cobbled courtyards that fill the gaps in between, this is a wedding venue like no other -- and it all dances around our magnificent all-white Garden Pavilion.

Where is the Thursford Garden Pavilion located?
Hiding in the beating heart of Norfolk's picturesque countryside, just a few miles from the North Norfolk coast, you'll discover the pretty village of Thursford, home to our postcard-perfect pavilion. And that's just the beginning because these endlessly rural surroundings are given a whimsical and intimate feeling thanks to the tall trees that surround our pavilion.
And yet, despite its tranquil and rural setting, our Garden Pavilion is oh-so-easy to reach, as it's tucked away exactly halfway between Fakenham and Holt, just a short and scenic drive from Norwich.
What does a Garden Pavilion wedding feel like?
Magical. The kind of wedding venue where you get goosebumps from the moment you arrive in our grounds. Classic but contemporary, understated yet unique, intimate yet oh-so-spacious. But best of all, it feels like a blank canvas that's ready and waiting for you to add your personalities and love story to it.
What is the space like inside the Pavilion?
In a word: endless. At least, it always that way. Walking in through the grand tented entrance, you'll enter into the main reception space with it's panoramic windows, high ceilings and enough space to seat 240 for a civil ceremony or 200 for your wedding dinner, without any compromises, not even on the dance floor. That's because our pavilion has a purpose-built dance floor with specially designed sound system so your guests can dance, relax, chat and repeat from start to finish.
And the dance floor is just part of the convenience because, as well as the entrance space, main reception room and dedicated dance floor, there is also a fully functioning kitchen, a large store room and perfectly maintained toilets. In short: everything you need is at your fingertips.
What are the grounds outside The Pavilion like?
With panoramic views across our beautiful landscaped gardens, you can share the biggest moment in your love story with your closest friends and family both inside our pavilion and out, with champagne and canapés on the lawn as your little ones ones rush over to the outdoor play area, filling the distance with the laughter as you look on. There really is nothing but tranquility to distract from your day -- and a few quite places to escape for a romantic moment with your soul mate, from the quaint courtyards to the walled gardens.
What licenses does The Garden Pavilion have?
We love being a part of every bride and groom's love story, which is why The Garden Pavilion can be used however you like: as a fully-licensed civil wedding venue, as a dreamy reception space after you've said "I do" at St Andrews church, or as that somewhere special for you to enjoy every moment of your big day, from the start of your ceremony to the midnight firework's finale.
Do you get exclusive use of The Garden Pavilion?
When you book your wedding with us, you get total exclusivity of the different areas you book so that you can enjoy every. single. moment of your day. From being showered confetti as you leave The Old Farm Barn to watching your guests tussle for the bouquet, exploring our fairy-lit garden paths and charming little courtyards, to raising your glass of champagne as everyone says "to the bride and groom" through mouthfuls of cake, our wedding venue is yours to enjoy however you please, exclusively.
Is there any accommodation at the Thursford Garden Pavilion?
Welcome to Holly Lodge, a pinch-yourself period property that dates back to the 13th Century and sits barely a confetti throw from the Garden Pavilion. Surrounded by fruit orchards, gardens, fields, its very own Shepherd's Hut, a beautifully converted stable block that sleeps up to 12, and a truly stunning bridal suite steeped in romance and comfort.
As for the stable block rooms, each room has been transformed into a charming en-suite, lavishly refurbished and individually styled. Country Cottage is a quaint room specked with a delightful New England feel, while Colonial Cottage is a king-size double that's dressed in all things far-eastern influence. And then there is Claret Cottage, a grand room fit for a King and Queen.
