Getting married is the best. It's that moment that makes your heart fizz, your soul whizz and your belly do the best kind of backflips -- ever. You only have to glance at our magical Instagram feed to realise that.

However, for pretty much every madly-in-love bride-to-be, there comes a moment when they start to tremble a touch and they suddenly realise just how much planning is involved to make their wedding day perfect. Don't worry, it's a totally normal feeling, but it can still feel like you and your SO are trying to do the impossible. You might even find yourself dancing with idea of changing your plans, tweaking your expectations and maybe, possibly trying to simplify things just a little bit to, you know, make the planning part of proceedings a little dollop easier.

Some people will tell you not to do this, others will say you should stick to the wedding the 9-year-old you drew up in your wedding book, and some will say something else along those lines. But the truth is, planning your first step into the sunset should be fun and magical and nothing but smiles, so if there are some things you can do to make whatever dreams you might have come true, we say you should give them a chance.

And that's what we're going to help you with.

We're going to take a peek at some of the gorgeous things you can do to make sure you get the wedding you hoped and dreamed for. Yup, we're going to help you achieve what might have seemed impossible on your wedding day - woohoo.

Boost Your Fund

One of the most stressful hurdles a couple of soulmates have to leap over together is the money hurdle. It's the most common hair-puller-outer between you and your perfect day. That's because most people don't have a money tree in their garden or a bank vault housing an endless supply of cash, which means there will have to be a little bit of compromise when planning your wedding. That said, there are ways you can boost your wedding fund a smidgen.

Sure, some of these may not be possible and others may have been exhausted already. But to make sure you've thought of everything, you could try writing a really nice letter to your parents asking for a loan, or your in-laws, while your BFFs may be able to help you out a pinch too. You won't know until you ask. Of course, if that's not possible, there are always Buddy Loans to give a tiny thought to. Whatever it is, there are ways to boost your big day fund and make getting hitched so much simpler and so much less stressful.

Dream Big

When the going gets tough and the planning gets rough, it can be oh-so-tempting to say, "we don't need a big wedding," followed by chats about how to simplify your preparations so that they're easier to pull off in a squeeze. But this won’t give you the magical day you've been dreaming of. It will still be the most amazing day of your whole life, and you'll get to run into the sunset with your handsome man, but there will be a little niggly feeling.

That's why we say you should keep dreaming big. Be you, be bold, be beautiful and bonkers, and keep your wedding visions alive and kicking so that you have something magical to keep motivating you. It might not mean you get every single lavish detail you were hoping for, but you'll get close, and that's because when you know what you're aiming for, and you can remember why you are doing what you're doing, you'll find it easier to dig deep, keep smiling, and ultimately find a way to make it all happen.

Never Say Never

There comes a moment or two where every bride bites her bottom lip and whispers to herself, "maybe these plans are a little bit out there." This is totally normal. This is the happiest day of your happily ever after, and you want it to be big and beautiful. So never say never because every gal deserves to reach for the stars and give their ambitions a whirl.

You might not end up with everything you had pictured, and there may be a couple of compromises made along the way -- but reaching for the stars has got to be better than not trying at all. The only thing any of us can do is try our best, and being a bride and groom team is no different. Aim high, think big, try to make your dreams become reality and, we promise, you'll have the happiest day of your life.
