We've always known our wedding venue is special. A place. where you feel goosebumps tingle up your arm as you take it all in: the panoramic views across our landscaped gardens, the otherworldly charm of our Old Farm Barn, the cobblestone courtyards and Magic Museum. Ours is a place unlike anywhere you've ever been. Totally unique and filled with pockets of soul-stirring charm.
The way we see it is simple: if Willy Wonka had a love factory, it would probably look a lot like this. Exclusive and elegant. Classic but contemporary. Understated, formal, lavish, discreet, eclectic, spacious, airy and oh-so-magical. It's everything. A blank canvas that is ready and waiting to become the backdrop of your most romantic of days because, no matter how you decorate it, this place has a way of always stealing your breath -- and it will do every time you flick through your wedding album.
But what we din't know was just how much our newlyweds couples loved our wedding venue too. That's why we decided to take a peek at the reviews left online and, wow, we were humbled right down to our hearts. From the words written about our team to the memories shared from days we'll never forget, we couldn't have wished for anything sweeter, which is why we deserved to compile a few of them here for you to peruse.

"Absolutely incredible place, everyone was blown away by our beautiful venue, Melissa was absolutely incredible from start to finish, even after our wedding got postponed she kept in contact and was just the other end of the phone when ever I needed her. We stayed at hold lodge, the place was so clean and tidy and was the icing on the cake having our closest family with us all weekend. Thursford will always have a massive place in our heart. We wish we could do it all again."

"We have only positives to say about our incredible wedding venue... Everything about the wedding day was incredible from start to finish. Charlie and his team are amazing and we are truly so proud that we could have had our wedding at this venue. Everything was cleared up and nothing was too much trouble. "Fantastic Fun"
"Thursford is a breathtaking venue for a wedding, we were absolutely delighted with everything. Charlie is very attentive and organised and made us feel relaxed from the initial meeting, the outside lights in the evening are just amazing and very romantic, we had many guests comment on this and they walked around the garden because it was just so beautiful, more than I actually expected it to be.
The fairground was also amazing and so enjoyable, our guests certainly enjoyed themselves, definitely a fun addition to have and well worth it. A massive thank you to Charlie and his team for everything."

"Our wedding at Thursford was so much more than we could have hoped for. All of the staff were amazing right from our first viewing, nothing was too much trouble, everything went smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything we wanted was taken care of.. We hadn't seen the garden all lit up at night before so it was magical for us to see too as well as our guests. Lots of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! We can't thank you enough for such a perfect day!"

"Supremely Professional"
"Charlie and his team at Thursford Garden Pavillion were supremely professional and helped to make our wedding day in June 2017 so special. From our initial meeting through to the day itself, the team were fantastic at communicating with us. We had a number of small detail changes in the run up to the day itself and Charlie was very accommodating to these. So many friends and family commented on the day how amazing the venue was and that the carousel rides had lent a fairytale edge to proceedings. The lighting in the trees outside the Pavillion in the evening were sensational and served to enhance the ambience inside. Normally tables have to be cleared away at wedding receptions I have been to to make room for a make shift dance floor, but at Thursford they have a beautiful dedicated dance floor with fantastic lighting again. Charlie showed great attention to detail, and when we arrived in our wedding car we were greeted by him personally with drinks and within 60 seconds all our guests were led to the funfair rides which were lit up and working. Everything ran so smoothly, leaving us to just enjoy the day. If you want the perfect wedding venue in Norfolk, and a team who will ensure your day goes without a hitch I would unreservedly recommend the team at Thursford Garden Pavillion. "Thursford is a spectacular venue and and was the perfect location to get married. Charlie was great to work with in the lead up to the big day and always available to answer any questions (of which I had many!). We also found that our other suppliers had no problems with making arrangements at Thursford which meant no additional stress for us. It was great to have access the day before the wedding to ensure that everything was set up and ready and we were pleasantly surprised to find a number of extra finishing touches that Charlie thought would add that little bit more to the venue.The day itself could not have run any more smoothly – Charlie was always there to ensure everything was running to schedule and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He was also very good at liaising with other members of the wedding party when we were busy and everyone found him to be approachable and accommodating. Nothing that was asked of him was too much! A number of our guests hadn’t been to Thursford before and couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything looked. It was particularly stunning for our evening guests who arrived after dark and got the full impact of the lights! It looked magical and our photographer got many shots that really captured the mood. We also had a great time on the carousel and gondola rides which were a real highlight of the day – many of our guests had been looking forward to these in particular and were not disappointed!All in all we would not have changed a thing about our wedding day as it really was perfect and I have no doubt that Thursford and Charlie in particular were big contributing factors!"

"First Class Service"
"From the moment we booked the venue nothing was too much trouble and on the day it was absolutely perfect. A wonderful wonderful day. So many people have been in contact with me to say how much they enjoyed themselves. I thought the Barn looked beautiful for the ceremony and as we walked out afterwards to the sounds of the organs playing it was magical. I have never seen so many happy smiling faces as I did of the guests in all their finery riding the Gondola and Carousel. The Pavilion was perfect for the large number of guests that we had and with sixteen tables we still had such a lot of space. How magical did it look outside in the evening with the lights in the trees. The final surprise for everybody was when the curtains opened for Tina and Andrew's first dance. I think I speak for everybody when I say we had a truly wonderful, amazing and happy day. Many thanks once again."
